Class Assignments

Memoirs, like the corners of my mind... Sorry, busting out into song while blogging.  Never easy when no one can hear you. 

We are working hard on writing and reading memoirs, and we have lots to say about our lives!  We will also be having an author's tea when our final products are ready, so be on the lookout for an invitation to hear our distinguished author's read their heartfelt memoirs! 

Can't wait!

    I think we should have some poetry homework.Like "Write five 6-word essays.It would be a new type of homework.

    The class should have a competition for the best 6-word essays every month.

      The rules are that you can't put anything inappropriate or rude etc.The prizes:1st place gets a pass for no homework for the night, 2nd place gets 10 cougar cash, 3rd place gets 5 cougar cash.The idea is to put 6-word essays publicly around the school.Also we should be rewarded for coming up with great 6-word essays!:D

      The last who is that you cannot copy from anyone else. And that means no one (other than the teacher) can look at someone's 6-word essay.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

      Everyone can decide if they want to put theirs in as an entry.But there has to be more than 6 entries.One more idea 4th+5th places have to answer 5 questions and whoever gets 3 or more questions gets a pass for 1 homework assignment. :D

    We're back to doing poetry again YAY (that was half sarcastic an half sincere) personally I am a COMPLETE FAIL at poetry (or at least that's what I think) but its mostly the rhyming part that gets me. Free verse? I'm your girl. I'm working on this one now called fire. People say its pretty good but I'm not sure.
